International award winning songwriter Katie Pederson is a prolific & powerful songstress with Michigan roots. She has been touring the country for over a decade with her lyrical and vulnerable songwriting on display, & sharing the stage with artists such as Ben Folds, Mason Jennings, and Kyshona Armstrong. Inspired by pop piano icons, Katie's full length project “Limitless,” released in 2022 captured the hearts of fans of Carol King and Elton John. The album was named Best AAA Record of the year by the Indie Acoustic Project, with several tracks receiving recognition from the John Lennon and International Songwriting Competitions. Shortly after the release of Limitless, she began a new endeavor with the Michigan based Americana Trio, The Rebel Eves, with award-winning songwriters Jilian Linklater and Grace Theisen, gaining critical acclaim in the Michigan music circuit & taking the scene by storm with festival performances at Wheatland, Bliss, and Sisters Folk Festivals. After releasing some raw and reflective singles paying homage to her younger self to celebrate perseverance in an ever changing music industry, she began work on her forthcoming solo record, with unreleased songs that have already added her to the Nashville Songwriter Association’s “Ones to Watch,” list, including a feature track, “Match the Effort,” named as one of the quarterly top 40 tracks of 2025. With soulful tunes from the upcoming album, Katie made her debut at Nashville’s one and only Bluebird Cafe, affording her opportunities to open for Kim Richey, Tony Arrata, and Jamie Harris at the historic Nashville venue, 3rd & Lindsley. The highly anticipated new songs are planned to start releasing in the spring of 2026 as a new beginning of another chapter in a journey that has been years in the making.
